So, you're thinking boudoir, huh? Let's talk about it!

I realize many women are fearful of being in front of a camera half naked. I get it. In this crazy world of body shaming and "perfection" in the media, it's no wonder we are all so self-conscious and shy about it.

Well I'm here to tell ya...it is SO EMPOWERING to let yourself be free of all that for even just an hour, let yourself be you...just a beautiful woman without all the other labels...feel beautiful, feel sexy, let your hair down...you deserve it! We, as women are criticized on the daily for everything...like EVERYTHING, sometimes we don't even realize it. I mean, let's face it...it's a dog eat dog world. We have to rise above it, walk with confidence and dignity and empower each other to do the same.

Boudoir is not about men or making them happy (though it is the best gift you can give your husband or boyfriend for Valentine's Day....just saying'). Boudoir is about stepping out of that comfort zone and doing something that makes YOU feel good, that makes you feel sexy. Women are pretty beautiful beings...I want to embrace that with a lot of class and a little bit of sass. Why not have some fun with it?

I recently had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful lady. She came in a little nervous and shy, but by the end of the hour she was feeling it! She did amazing, as you can see. She exudes sex appeal (ladies, there is nothing wrong with that...our children are in this world because of that sex appeal, right?). The response I got after having sent the photos was this:

"Wow, I love them. They turned out awesome . Makes me feel young and beautiful haha. Thanks so much. You're a great photographer, boudoir of course, and I would recommend you for anyone. You make a girl feel alive. Feel free to use these photos for anything. Thanks again"

Almost cried....cause I'm a sap but honestly, this is what it is all about for me!
